They are giving a recital of exciting duo and solo works by Bach\, Bloch\, and Brahms\, alongside the world premiere of Scrabble by Melbourne composer\,Colin McKellar.   The viola and piano recital and CD launch will take place Sunday 20 May at 1.30pmin the beautiful St Stephen's Anglican Church at 380 Church St\, Richmond.\n  Danae and Barbara have played as a duo for a number of years\, with the viola and piano works of Swiss-American composer Ernest Bloch (1880-1959) forming the heart of their musical collaboration. Known best for his music on Jewish cultural and liturgical themes\, Bloch was an eclectic modernist composer who drew inspiration from around the globe to create his original and compelling language.
