DESCRIPTION:https://fulbrightalumni.org.au/event-2460537\n\nThe Australian Fulbright Alumni Association Annual General Meeting will be held the evening of March 9 in Canberra.  We invite members to arrive at 5pm to socialize with a formal meeting start time of 5:30pm. \n\n  The location details are:\n\n  Graduate Lounge\, Fellows' Cafe and Bar at the University House\, Balmain Crescent\, ANU Canberra\n  Following the formal meeting\, members wishing to continue socializing can dine at Fellows Cafe and Bar.\n\n  We encourage all of our members traveling interstate to attend the Fulbright Gala dinner (March 8) and AFAA AGM (March 9) to consider staying at the University House.  They provide an excellent accommodation option. \n\n  The Agenda is as follows:\n  1. Formal opening of the AGM\n  2. Presidents report on 2016 activities\n\n  3. 2016 financial statement\n  4. Discussion of AFAA strategic direction and ways to support local activities\n  5. Confirmation of committee member nominations (voting item)\n\n  We are  accepting nominations for general members and Treasurer.  Please consider nominating yourself. It is a great way to serve your Alumni community and it can be good fun! To nominate yourself for a Committee position email your details to: admin@fulbrightalumni.org.au. \n\n  All members wishing to attend the AGM may attend in person or by teleconference.
